Grumbacher Gesso prepares a number of porous substrates, such as canvas, wood, cardboard, plaster, and concrete, for painting with oil or acrylic colors. Not appropriate for egg tempera or gilding. Stir well and apply with brush to a clean surface. May be thinned with water. Sand between coats if desired to avoid wicking. May be tinted with acrylic colors. Do not mix with or apply over turpentine or oils. Available in 16oz. and 32 oz. jars. Made in USA.
