This 1987 album is reckoned as one of Anson s finest, a piquant mixture of Delta and Texas blues, with some sharp originals and well-chosen covers (Percy Mayfield, Elmore James)! That s his trusty partner Sam Myers on harp and vocals, too, while Kaz Kazanoff chips in some tasty horn charts.
