Sanitizing footbath mat is designed to decontaminate and disinfect footwear, this mat keeps hygienic areas free of debris and germs. Especially effective in food processing facilities, the mat is simply filled with a diluted chlorine or quaternary solution. As employees step in the mat, their shoe treads are immersed in the disinfectant solution while the pliable rubber scrapers dislodge contaminants. For complete decontamination, shoe soles must be immersed for one minute. Standard mat holds up to 1 gallon while tall wall (2-1/2" walls) holds up to 5.5 gallons. The liquid is at least 2" high and can disinfect the well past the sole of the shoe or boot. Sweep regularly or dry mop the surface. These mats can be wet mopped with mild soap or detergent. For best results use a detergent like ivory liquid with a PH between 4.0 - 9.0. Test specifications and results are DOC FF 1-70 - Meets this specification Flammability (surface), ASTM F1677 Dry: COF = >1.0 and Coefficient of Friction, ASTM C501 Wear Index, 1/g=59.3 - Abrasion Resistance, ASTM D1171 - Excellent UV Exposure, ASTM D1056 - 10 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit Temperature Range. Cleaning recommendations: Sweep regularly or dry mop the surface. These mats can be wet mopped with mild soap or detergent. For best results use a detergent like Ivory Liquid with a ph. between 4.0 - 9.0.
