2009 debut album from the Swedish Melodic Metal outfit. On this album, Dead by April offer up some top quality melodic Metal that bridges the gap between commercial Metalcore and melodic Death Metal, coming across as a uber-polished hybrid of Linkin Park and Soilwork, with plenty of Sonic Syndicate-esque guitar melodies and sweeping Euro metal keyboards to keep the metallers happy, but enough pomp and fluff to please the scene kids, too. From heavy riffing and pounding drums to heavenly vocal harmonies, Dead by April are both slick and 'sick' and will appeal to heavy music fans across the board. 13 tracks. Spinefarm.
