This firm foam modelling pad is a helpful tool for shaping flowers, leaves, and other gum paste or fondant cutouts. One side of the pad is fabric-coated to allow for the use of shortening to prevent gum paste from sticking. The foam pad is suitable for thinning and frilling petal and leaf edges. Three holes (each a different diameter) in the foam allow gum paste to be rolled out for "Mexican hat" flower shapes. Includes a small modelling stick.
