This 72 piece puzzle features Varangians - the Nordic river pirate cousins of the Vikings. The painting is by Nicholas Roerich and was painted in 1901. The 72 pieces include a number of river-themed whimsy pieces designed by Seattle artist Tara Flannery (click on the small image below the big image above to see example puzzle pieces). All our puzzles are made with 1/4" wood. Comes packaged in a drawstring pouch. Warning: puzzle pieces are a choking hazard for small children.
