Sun Exposure: Full sun to partial shade. Soil Conditions: Prefers light, moist but well-drained, slightly acid soils, but adaptable. Resistant: Deer -therefore, these animals should not be a problem. Pruning/Trimming: Trimmed to a desired height, but not necessary. For a tidy, neat appearance, shear annually to shape. Fertilizer: Suggest a well-balance fertilizer like a 10-10-10 or 13-13-13 or even a Holly-toner. Feed in early spring and fall.
