Dick Powell plays the gas jockey, a college grad who plans to put his engineering degree to use by someday establishing a chain of auto courts. Meanwhile, Olivia de Havilland plans sweet revenge over that $3.48 indignity. Complications aplenty follow in this easy-to-like screwball romance.
