The Bosch CRS180 18-Volt Reciprocating Saw features an impressive array of feature and benefits. It has a 1-1/8-inch stroke for enhanced material removal per stroke. Its two speed ranges of 0-2,400 SPM and 0-2,700 SPM allow match of speed to the application. The compact size of the saw makes it easier to get into tight spaces. Its handle is ergonomically shaped with comfort zone in the soft-grip area for a secure hold and low user fatigue. The saw also includes the Bosch-exclusive Lockjaw blade holder for fast one-handed blade change. The saw's own electronic package includes Electronic Motor Protection (EMP) to protect the motor against overload and ensures a long lifetime. The CRS180 uses Bosch 18-Volt Lithium-Ion batteries - sold separately - that feature the innovative Cool Pack design to ensure optimum heat dissipation and therefore increase lifetime by up to 100-percent compared to batteries without Cool Pack. Finally, the Bosch Electronic Cell Protection (ECP) protects the battery against overload, overheating and deep discharge. Battery and charger sold separately.
