牛黄解毒片 CHOLINEX (NIU HUANG JIE DU PIAN)
Functions and indications: For toxic heat and real fire in liver, heart and stomach channels (upper burner) with congestion due to phlegm-heat. Symptoms include fever, inflamed throat or gums, red irritated eyes, earache, toxic swellings, delirium, toothache, headache, dizziness, and oral ulcers.
Useful in children's fever. Do not use in deficiency heat syndromes.
Packing: 100 tablets per box
Caution: Use for short time only. Do not use if pregnant. Do not use in coma following excessive sweating, vomiting, or hemorrhage, or if person is in shock with sweating, cold limbs, etc. In these cases, revive with formulas to warm the center and tonify qi.
