These pencils by Cretacolor are oil based. This gives the colors a smooth creamy feeling; instead of the dry powdery feel of dry chalk or pastel pencils. This set includes six classic drawing colors in a reusable tin- one each of white sanguine sepia light sepia dark black soft and black extrasoft. The oil base makes them water resistant. Highest lightfastness.
