The dome secures with a safety-lock hook and is highly effective over any hanging feeder. The brass rod is beautiful and durable and the rain guard with O-ring ensures that rain doesn't travel down the rod, but flows around the feeder, keeping seed dry and fresh. Collet technology allows you to adjust the dome's position on the rod to make it closer to or farther away from the feeder and the articulating design uses the weight of the squirrel on the dome to displace the feeder beneath.
