The PetSafe Little Dog In-Ground Fence allows little dogs the freedom to be outside within customized boundaries set by the pet parent. A radio signal travels through a buried wire, marking the boundaries you wish to set for your little dog. Your dog wears a receiver collar with contact points that touch his neck and the receiver collar detects the signal at the boundary. As your dog approaches the boundary, the receiver issues a warning tone. If he proceeds further, he receives a safe, but startling, static correction. While harmless, the correction will persuade him to stay in the established containment area. With 4 levels of static correction plus a tone only mode, you will be able to select the right level for your dog.
