This Splicing Fid kit, made by Samson, is useful to splice ropes of many designs. It is not suitable for splicing core-dependent double braid constructions. It allows the experienced user to do splices in the field. With a little practice, you too can splice rope like the pros! This kit includes each of the following: (1) 1/4"(5mm) Fid (1) 5/16" (8mm) Fid (1) 3/8" (9mm) Fid (1) 7/16" (10mm) Fid (1) 1/2" (12mm) Fid (1) Small pusher. Rope is not included.
