One in five Americans will have a mental illness requiring treatment at some point in their lives, and unfortunately, many will not receive treatment because of stigma.

To help change this and to make a difference in their local communities, people served by Northern Lakes Community Mental Health have come together as Stigma Busters -- creating artwork, photographs, recovery stories, media campaigns, personal testimonies, buttons, and other projects for the purpose of eliminating the stima associated with mental illness and spreading the word that recovery is possible.
