Its nylon handle and silicone blade is capable of handling temperatures up to 500-Degree F (260-Degree c). The blade and handle have been molded together, forming a sanitary seal that keeps food from getting stuck. Non-scratching silicone rubber blade/spoon is stain and odor resistant.
