Scarab Robot makes use of two touch sensors to detect obstacles. When its antenna (touch sensor) detects an object in its path, Scarab will go backward first and automatically follow a two-step maneuver to help it overcome the obstacle, which can be a combination of “Left Turn”, “Right Turn”, “Reverse”, or “Stop”.
