GO! Fabric Cutting Dies by AccuQuilt: Rag Square 5-1/4 inch. Cuts two 5-1/4W x 5-1/4H inch squares. Rag quilts are quick and easy with this die that eliminates cutting the fringe by hand. Soft rag squares are perfect for baby and children's quilts; tote bags and pillows. Designed to sew from first cut to last cut with a 1-inch seam allowance; 3/4-inch fringe cut a consistent 1/4-inch wide. When cutting flannel for rag quilts only use 1-2 layers with this die. Rag quilts are typically laundered to fully "bloom" the fringe. Add a layer of batting (3 1/4" squares) for especially warm quilts perfect for fall football games or outdoor gatherings.
