Unlike most flickering bulbs that you find, ours is dipped in silicone for a flame like appearance. This also has the advantage of disguising the flame filament so the bulb looks attractive when turned off too! In the pictures on the left compare our silicone dipped version with a clear version to see the difference. The flicker produces an orange glow that dances up and down the flame shaped filament. Please note that these bulbs are only 3 watts so they will produce virtually no light. They are designed specifically for novelty or ambiance.
