Yoder's cooks their bacon prior to canning, removing all excess fat. It is then laid out on parchment paper, rolled and canned for freshness. This bacon is perfect in emergency and survival situations as it will supply you with the calories and proteins that your body needs. There are 60 calories and 5 grams of protein in each slice. You can eat it right out of the can, pop it into the microwave for a few seconds or warm it in a frying pan. Anyway you serve it, you still have tasty bacon.
