This entertaining sequel follows the great success of Father Of The Bride made the previous year and reunites the cast in a warm and tender comedy. Stanley Banks (Spencer Tracy) has now accepted the marriage of his daughter Kay (Elizabeth Taylor) and he is hoping for a little peace and quiet. He is shocked and dismayed to learn that she is now going to have a baby and once again his life will be turned into chaos.
