Ceiling opening is 6-9/16-inches by 8-7/32-inches oval. Vertically adjusts to accommodate up to a 1-inch ceiling thickness. A thermal protector ensures automatic shutdown if improper bulb wattage is used. Meets Washington State IECC and MEC codes and conforms with City of Chicago IP requirements. UL listed. DL # 23028.
