Our Pure Lavender Extract contains alcohol, water and the finest pure oil lavender (Lavandula angustifolia). This extract is incredibly versatile and can be used in both sweet and savory cooking applications. Add a small amount of our Pure Lavender Extract to flavor lemonade, tea, chocolate cake, brownies, frosting, fruit salad, ice cream and sorbet. Lavender, both the herb and the extract, can be used to replace rosemary in sauces and salad dressings. The flavor is more herbal than floral. Try adding to a brine containing water, salt and pepper for marinating chicken. Our Pure Lavender Extract can be used to enhance the fragrance of sachets, floral bouquets and potpourri.
