This is a pewter pendant of the Hindu Deity Shiva Natraja. The pendant comes with a black necklace cord and a story card as shown in the alternate picture. Natraja means Lord of the Dance. Shiva's dance is the dance of creation and destruction. In one hand he holds a drum called the Damaru. It represents the principle of sound through which the Universe is created. in the other hand he holds the fire of dissolution, called pratayagni. Another of his four hands is the gesture of protection, while the remaining hand points to his raised foot. He wears the moon in his hair, the symbol of waxing and waning.
