Screw tip Forstner bits require less downward pressure and stay on-line better as the leading screw tip draws the larger bodied multi spur bit into workpeice. These 3-5/8" bits have tapered screw tips that are adjustable for variable bite, have 1/2" hex shanks and a black oxide finish.
