This tee is a class 3000 forged stainless steel 316/316L t-shaped pipe fitting with female National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on the run and branches for connecting a total of three pieces of pipe. The class 3000 tee has been forged from stainless steel 316/316L for durability and use in high pressure applications. Class is a standard relating to tolerance, construction, dimension, and wall thickness, but it is not a direct measurement of maximum working pressure. This fitting meets standards ASTM A182, ASME SA182, and ANSI B16.11 for quality assurance.
