It is perfectly balanced for vibration free running. Shafts must be fully inserted into the collet and firmly secured. 1/4-inches shaft. Crimped wire is for general surface cleaning, rust, scale and paint removal. Made with stainless steel #304 wire to help prevent contamination and surface rusting of brushed stainless steel parts.
