This deadbolt strike plate is constructed of steel and comes in a classic bronze finish. It features an 1/8 in. thick heavy gauge steel base which allows for 3 in. screws to be anchored into the wall stud. This 2-piece high security deadbolt strike replaces standard exterior residential deadbolt strikes adding increased security to entry doors. This item includes one 2-piece strike plate per package with fasteners. Pilot holes for 3 in. screw installation, and additional, deeper chiseling may be required flush install.
