This battery door is for the use with the extended battery for the LG VX8700. The larger battery fits into the phone's back but the original door will not be able to fit on the back of the battery due to its increased size. The increased physical size is due to the increased battery capacity. In this case, you will need this battery door to fit the back of your phone even with the large battery in place.
