Simply pull translucent end off and place over blade; push to secure. Safety ball on blade protects fabric. For Open seams: Use seam ripper to cut and remove unwanted stitches. Remove stitches: Lift threads with point and cut blade. Point can also be used to remove threads. Open Buttonholes: insert point between stitches. Slide blade to cut fabric. Insert pin at end of buttonhole to prevent cutting through end stitches.
