Repentance is a critical element in the life of the Christian. It is part of the order of salvation and it is a matter to be attended to before God on a daily basis. This work, by Thomas Watson, addresses the matter of repentance in great detail. Like all works of the Puritans great attention is given to examining the subject in its entirety. Watson approaches repentance in the absolute biblical sense. Thomas Watson (1620-1686) was an English, noncomformist, Puritan preacher and author. He spent 16 years as pastor of St. Stephen’s, Walbrook before a brief imprisonment for his involvement in a plot to recall Charles II.
