Jean Arthur teams with William Powell in a playful murder mystery that proves Myrna Loy isn't the only beautiful, fluty-voiced comedienne who can trade banter and hunt killers with the suave star of The Thin Man series. The yarn begins when a jockey heads for that great post position in the sky during a major race. Mystery writer Paula Bradford (Arthur) is sure it's murder.
