How It Works
The bookend is inserted in a concealed manner within the first book being supported; next to the book cover (a hardcover, now a soft one!), so that interaction between the supported books and the figure on the base of the bookend is created.

Place the bookend between the book cover and the first/last page of the book. Use a soft covered book. Lean other books in the amount that covers at least the whole length of the bookend's base.
