This Anderson Metals 56121 cored hex head plug is a brass pipe fitting with 1/8" male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads. This cored hex plug fitting inserts into a pipe or fitting to close and terminate its end and has a hexagonal head for an increased bearing surface when adjusting the fitting with a wrench. It has male threads for connecting to female threaded pipes or fittings. This fitting is made of brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability.
