JVCC 762-BD Bi-Directional Filament Strapping Tape is a fiberglass reinforced polypropylene tape which gives you 155# tensile strength in both directions (measures the tape's resistance to being broken apart as stress is applied). It is a high strength, cross bi-directional filament tape used for extremely demanding strapping, bundling and palletizing applications. High tear resistance makes it ideal for tabbing/seaming in the metal fabricating industry. Can also be used as project material for building out a Hexayurt shelter. Referred to as strapping tape or string tape. 762-BD bidi tape also helps to reduce the amount of tape needed for your project since it has filaments in both directions of the tape; traditional filament tape is one direction only. If not otherwise specified widths shown in dropdown are in inches. NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i.e. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size). This product's actual size is 72mm x 55m.
