Perennial to USDA zones 3 (short-lived: replant in 2-3 years). There is a huge range of flower colors in this blend; quite dramatic when planted in mass, but also exquisite when scattered. The scent of lupine blossoms is like honey. In mild climates lupine is planted in the fall and grown as an annual. This North American native wildflower will self-sow.
