Season 6 includes a courtesy copy of the Original Avonlea Soundtrack CD by John Welsman. This classic cd contains a number of memorable themes from the show, including the charming Original Series Theme Song, Gus Pike's lamenting theme, which is based on an Irish tune, and the ancient Welsh folk song "All Through the Night," with vocals by Cedric Smith. The actor who played Alec King lent his singing voice to this song in Season 6's epsiode "Thursday's Child," in which Cecily is sick with tuberculosis. This great CD is only available with the purchase of the "Road to Avonlea" - Volume 6 package from Shop At Sullivan. Fans will also appreciate the inclusion of a courtesy copy of a heartwarming promo DVD for Kevin Sullivan's other award-winning series, Wind at my Back. The DVD includes two hilarious episodes of the show, "The Agony Column" and "Radio Waves," along with trailers for other classic Sullivan productions. Also included in the Season 6 package is a Collector's Souvenir Pack with a behind-the-scenes look at how the Avonlea scores were composed and how they influenced the development of the series, along with six never-before-seen colour cast photos.
