Rose Queen Hibiscus is an older cultivar that has recently gained new attention. It is the same plant that is sold as Red Hot. It has a full busy growth habit and the plant is a vigorous grower. The bright red 3" classic hibiscus flowers are beautiful, the unusual coloration of the leaves adds great texture and interest even when it not in flower. For the best results locate in full sun and plant in well draining soil. Feed a good quality slow release bloom boosting plant food twice yearly.
