This case is made of a thin but remarkably tough material called TPU. Thin enough that you can operate all the controls normally through it. And it's very light - only 146g including the belt. The TC sealing system seals quickly around the radio mic wire. We use a patented silicone-foam gasket in combination with unique 2-stage closures to ensure a fool-proof seal. Everything stays in one piece even when open. The TC clamp will seal around a wire of up to 2.5mm/0.1in diameter. It also protects from dust, dirt and sand.
