This International edition is edited by Joseph Joachim and Andreas Moser, with a foreword by Mr. Moser. The format of this edition is somewhat unusual, appearing in score with a bigger typeset on the top staff and a smaller, almost parenthetical typeset on the lower staff. The player is intended to follow the top staff for performance; the bottom staff is a reproduction of the manuscript.
