This Dixon BCF Series hose fitting is made of brass and connects hose of the same diameter to a GHT male connection. This machined coupling has a barbed end to create a tight seal on a hose when used with a hose clamp or crimp sleeve or ferrule (not included) and female garden hose threads (GHT) on the other end connect to male GHT connections. This fitting is for use with rubber (styrene butadiene), neoprene, Viton, leather, or rubber gaskets (not included). This fitting has a swivel nut to reduce stress on the hose when connecting the fitting. It is made of brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability.
