With their hypnotic third album, the Malian group Terakaft (Tamashek for 'caravan') affirms it's reputation as a genuine desert rock band. With their swirling guitar riffs, subterranean bass and shattering percussion, these rugged Saharans mine the legacy of John Cipollina and Jimi Hendrix. Recommended for fans of Tuareg rockers Tinariwen.
