Leviton X7899W Leviton 20A Tamperresistant, Commercial Grade Smartlock Pro Duplex Receptacle (X7899W) is a 20 amp, 125 Volt commercial grade lockout action combined with the thinnest receptacle around today. Highlighting the tamperresistant SmartLockPRO, aimed at protecting children from the hazards of shock. SmartlockPRO is a thin design that effortlessly installs in the narrowest of spaces (at least 25 percent more space in the wallbox than other GFCIs). SmartlockPRO is built to handle high torque and also to prevent wirepullout. SmartlockPRO reduces the possibility of endusers mistakenly assuming that a reset GFCI outlet is providing them with ground fault protection when in fact it isn't. SmartlockPRO does this by automatically testing the GFCI any time the RESET button is pressed. The Leviton X7899W GFCI will not reset if the GFCI circuit is faulty. Leviton Duplex receptacle X7899W also features a lineload reversal diagnostic feature. Lineload reversal diagnostic feature prevents GFCI from being reset and stops power flow from being fed to the GFCI receptacle face or into the downstream devices. SmartLockPro GFCI has strip latch mechanism which was built in a 'T' shape which allows for competent operation. Trip threshold time complies with all UL requirements. Also features improved immunity to high frequency noise which prevents device from being triggered by loud nuisances.
