Detect water overflow in multiple areas around your home using a single receiver by connecting additional Skylink Long Range Household Alert Water Sensors. Sensors detect water overflow, water leakage, or rising water, such as the water level of your bathtub. Designed for larger homes, the sensor's long range functionality allows it to signal the receiver (sold separately) from long distances (downstairs garage sensor to upstairs bedroom receiver, for example). When water is detected by the sensor, the receiver alerts you by flashing and either beeping or sounding the alarm. Target the Areas Most Prone to Leaks: Install the water sensor near any appliance connected to plumbing. Water heaters are particularly vulnerable to leaks as they age.
