Bush Lima Bean Culture - Tasty, easy to grow, a family tradition. Whether you choose a large-seeded lima or a small-seeded type, your plant will produce an abundance of sweet, buttery limas... a mouth-watering dinner time vegetable. One pound plants about 20' of wide row or 100' of single row. Space rows 3' apart and pick often. Caution: Must have warm soil!
Well known in the South as 'Speckled Butterbean'. Bears well in hot, humid weather. The seed is buff, splashed with maroon. Does well in all climates, bearing beautiful, exceptionally sweet shell beans. Similar to Southern Running Butterbean, except the beans are speckled. Popular fresh, frozen or canned.
