Celosia Plumosa Nana (Glitters Salmon) - Celosias are one of the most eye-catching annuals to grow in the garden. Technically speaking, however, they are tender perennials and will actually grow as perennials in frost free zones. Also known as Woolflowers, Plume Plants, or Feathered Amaranth, Celosias make good cut flowers and can be dried for use in arrangements, and their vivid hues practically glow, lighting up the garden even on the rainiest summer days. Full sun is a must, and you'll get the best results in well-drained soil enriched with compost. The flower seeds need to stay moist, and require warm soil to germinate.
