Product Review
Gaillardia Arista (Tokajer) - Gaillardia Tokajer is a marmalade-orange daisy looking Blanket Flower which has a different look than most Gaillardias. A rich history brings this new introduction out of occupied Germany. Gaillardia has a very long bloom season from early summer to late summer and often even in to autumn. Flowers appear to \blanket\" this plant. The ends of the petals have a torn, ruffled appearance. Butterflies are drawn to it. These perennials require little care once established. They are heat tolerant and actually prefer to be grown in poorer soils. They get their name from the manner in which they used to blanket North American prairies with their blooms. They can still be found in fields and along roadsides in the prairie region and into the Rockies."
