Lupinus Polyphyllus (Noble Maiden) - This variety of Lupine is a perennial with medium green leaves, large and palmate, with lance-shaped leaflets. The plant tends to be clump forming and grows to approximately 40 inches in height. Lupine Nobel Maiden blooms in late spring and early summer and features a brilliant display of cream sweet pea shaped flowers on tall spikes. When planted in large masses, this lupine is truly an eye-catcher. Lupine can grow from loamy soil to clay soil as long as the soil drains well. Lupine is a large wild flower seed that is easily established directly outdoors when frost season ends. Soak the flower seed for 24 hours before planting.
