- LEG WRAP: Treating leg ulcers, vascular issues, swelling, and more, may require the use of an Unna Boot. This gauze dressing, also known as a soft cast, provides customized compression of the area.
- APPLICATION OF AN UNNA BOOT: Clean and dry the treatment area, remove the Unna Boot from the package and place the leg at a 90° angle. Wind the dressing from toe to knee in an overlapping and spiral manner.
- ZINC OXIDE + CALAMINE: Zinc oxide paste is used to help reduce inflammation and swelling, ease skin irritation, promote healing, and maintain the optimum moisture level during treatment. Calamine is used to help ease itching.
- UNNA BOOT MAINTENANCE: For best results during treatment, keep the Unna Boot dry. Keep the leg elevated when possible. Contact your physician regarding any new or worsening symptoms while using.
