Lucy the Dog that Looks Like a Pig was inspired by my dog Lucy and a time my wife took a picture of her covered in dirt and showed it at work. Some one asked completely serious "why do you have a pet pig?" and that was what got the story started. I turned that idea into a book about dealing with name calling and self image. Lucy learns how being called names can make you feel bad, and later learns the best way to deal with that problem. I recently added a few previews at the end of this book.
